Small onions with Balsamic Vinegar


450 g of small borettane onions
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Half a cup of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.G.I
2 tablespoons of sugar


Peel and wash the onions. Pour the vinegar and sugar in a pan and let them melt until you get a smooth consistency. In a different pan sear the onions with oil and salt. Then add the onions to the vinegar and sugar mixture and leave it on the stove to slowly cook for 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
